Graduated Jagiellonian University in 1991 (Collegium Medicum Dentistry Department, Cracow). Complementary studies at Melbourne University, Australia and training in implantological centers at Freiburg University, Germany; University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Specialization in oral surgery and implantology.
At the Jagiellonian University he worked at the Maxillo-Facial Department, later he moved to the Prosthodontic Department ( Implantology Section).
His activities are: lectures and seminars on implantology for pre-graduate students and advanced courses for postgraduate doctors specializing in implantology and tissue regeneration procedures.
Head of implantological Department at Jagiellonian University and Director of Central European Implant Academy – center for training courses and scientific research in the field of implantology. He belongs to international multi center study team, working on new surgical procedures and issues related to implant surfaces.
A member of EAO and OSIS. Dr. Majewski lectures in Poland and abroad regarding implantology and regenerative treatment. The author of many publications in Polish and international journals. During the National Osteology Symposium in Cracow on April 9th and 10th, 2010, Piotr Majewski was not only successful Scientific Chairman but also moderator and speaker.
He has been already praticipating during 5 previous Osteology Symposiums in Poland (since 2000) and was a speaker at Piezosurgery Academy Congress in Lugano 2011, where he also became the Active Member of Piezosurgery Academy.
