Innovations for the IDS 2015: the world's first purely ceramic-based universal restorative material
Mike Gow is well known in the field of dental anxiety management and has trained in multiple techniques such as conscious sedation and hypnosis. In this presentation however, he will introduce his top fast and effective practical and clinical tips that he uses in daily practice to help his patients have the dental treatment that they need. Mike will share chairside techniques, highlight the importance of utilising technology and choice of dental materials as well as revealing a few top behavioural management tips for anxious patients.
Restorative treatment has undergone extremely rapid development over the last few years and now boasts high-quality materials which, on the one hand, have very advanced handling properties and, on the other hand, can be used to achieve both extremely stable and aesthetic results.
Now research has moved yet another step forward: with Admira Fusion, VOCO presents the world's first purely ceramic-based universal restorative material. It is based upon the innovative combination of tried-and-tested nanohybrid technology and ORMOCER technology developed together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research (ISC). The chemical basis for both the fillers and the resin matrix is silica. This unique “Pure Silicate Technology” brings many tangible advantages for the user – for example, by far the lowest polymerisation shrinkage compared to all the main restorative composites on the market.
Learning Objectives:
Find out all there is to know about the new “Pure Silicate Technology” in this approx. one-hour webinar and take the opportunity to receive first-hand information on the properties and special features of the first nanohybrid ORMOCER-based restorative material.
