101st FDI Congress - Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry - Materials and Techniques. A success story
Modern restorative dentistry is based upon the principle of minimal cutting of hard dental tissues as it is widely documented and thus accepted the paramount importance of maximum preservation of sound tissues. Alongside goes the need for durable, long lasting cosmetic restorations for both anterior and posterior teeth.
In response to these needs industry provides dentists with a large amount of suitable materials. In the present lecture advantages and disadvantages of cosmetic restorative materials will be discussed alongside with materials exhibiting some unique characteristics and also clinical step by step presentation of techniques on minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry.
The goal of the presentation is to comprehensively discuss materials and techniques for the successful implementation of modern restorative dentistry.
