Using implants to improve the success of the dreaded full mandibular denture
This course is designed to reduce the panic that sets in when we see an appointment that says “Patient wants new lower denture.” or “Mrs. Smith cannot eat with the new denture.”
We will start by exploring ways to improve case acceptance for improved results for a lower denture through the increased use of implants to stabilize the denture.
There will be examples of various methods to attach the implants to the lower denture in an effort to improve the stability, and ultimately the functionality, of your patient’s full lower denture.
Learning Objectives:
Patient involvement in the selection of their treatment plan improves their satisfaction with the results.
