The treatment of the alveolar socket after tooth extraction
The webinar will present results of the author using a new xenogenic matrix (mucoderm®). It can be used for socket sealing in post-extraction sites and post-extraction implants with or without soft tissue regeneration.
The treatment of the alveolar socket after tooth extraction is one of the most focused questions in dental practice.
In the past different techniques had been proposed in order to cover the alveolar socket by using soft tissue taken from different areas of the maxilla’s keratinized mucosa.
In the last few years the research on new xenogenic materials produced some interesting results regarding soft tissues’ substitutes. Dr. Alessandro Rossi will present how to use and to manage this new membranes and preliminary results of their clinical case series. The use of this membrane might be also indicated for soft tissue thickening around implants, and during the webinar also this aspects will be considered and explicated.
