The major focus of most implant related education tends to favor the protocols and nuances involved in the so-called “anterior aesthetic zone”.
While interestingly enough the bulk of implants placed by practitioners involve molar sites. Little information or updates have been provided on immediate protocols in these sites despite their frequency and desire for patients to expedite care across all treatments. Even less attention has been drawn to the subsequent options available for tissue conditioning prior to impression and restoration. This lecture will explore the various options and new advancements available to both surgical and restorative clinicians to help create favorable short and long-term outcomes for our patients and streamlining molar implant placement and restoration.
