Live webinarThe philosophy of root canal obturation is undergoing a significant shift from traditional mechanical compaction methods to approaches that emphasize bioactivity, sealing ability, and tissue compatibility. Contemporary endodontics increasingly focuses on minimally invasive techniques, improved disinfection protocols, and the use of bioactive sealers that support healing and reduce post-treatment complications. This presentation explores the historical evolution of obturation philosophies, the rationale behind the transition toward bio-sealing, and clinical strategies aligned with current evidence. By examining materials such as bioceramic sealers and the single-cone technique, the session aims to equip clinicians with insights for adopting a biologically driven, yet clinically efficient, obturation strategy.
