Direct Post Endo
Is there a direct way for Post Endo treatment? There are a lot of insufficient endodontically treated teeth in the mouth of our patients. Mindaugas and Georg would like to invite you to talk about direct ways to treat these kinds of teeth. We will talk about the rules we need to follow when restoring endo teeth in a direct way and when we are going to restore indirectly.
A sufficient “Direct Post Endo” restoration is needed after a successful endodontic treatment. We know that leakage is one of the main endodontic reasons for failure. But we also need to prevent future cracks in these kinds of endo teeth. So which kind of teeth need cuspal coverage after endo or even an indirect restauration? Sometimes we have longer time periods to cover up before the final indirect restoration will be bonded. To bridge this time we need efficient clinical protocols for treating these deep cavities and materials who are reinforcing the tooth as well.
