Dental implant design for protection bundle bone
The objective was to examine the effects of in the implant area of the neck and whole body on the peri-implant tissues in terms of BIC, resorption of crestal bone and soft tissue establishment .
Objectives:
- Was to examine the effects of thread in the implant area of the neck and whole body on the peri-implant tissues in terms of BIC, resorption of crestal bone and soft tissue establishment.
- Microgrooves and micorthreads in the crestal part of the implant have been suggested to avoid keeping the marginal bone and soft tissue around the implants. The transfer of vertical and horizontal loads creates some shear stress in crestal bone.
- The Surface plays a fundamental role in increasing BIC contact area and produces the most favorable stress distribution around the Bone.
New surfaces and current designs improve BIC and prevent crestal reabsorption
