COVID-19 beyond the dental clinic: Education, economics and health - 2021 World Oral Health Forum (Session 2 of 2)

In this webinar, we discuss the effects that the pandemic is having on dental education, the financing of dental practices and healthcare systems, practitioner wellbeing, and patient’s oral health. This is the second of two sessions that will make up the 2021 World Oral Health Forum (WOHF), as part of the FDI World Dental Congress 2021 Special Edition.

COVID-19 has massively disrupted dentistry worldwide. As well as significant changes to dental practice and procedures, it has also had far reaching impacts on other aspects of dentistry, the healthcare system, practitioners and patients. In this webinar, we discuss the effects that the pandemic is having on dental education, the financing of dental practices and healthcare systems, practitioner wellbeing, and patient’s oral health.

This webinar is the second of two sessions that will make up the 2021 World Oral Health Forum (WOHF), as part of the FDI World Dental Congress 2021 Special Edition. The WOHF is an annual event that brings together diverse stakeholders to discuss a major challenge on the road to achieving optimal oral health.
