Clinical Decision-Making And Treatment- When Preventive Treatment, When Surgical Treatment?
This program will discuss the decision processes necessary in the restoration of the dentition to a healthy functional state including the indications and contra-indications for surgical and non-surgical interventions, the rationale for the selection of the appropriate care and then the selection of a risk based appropriate disease prevention plan.

- The learner will understand how to simply assess the patient for future risk of disease.
- The learner will understand how to decide whether a surgical or non-surgical approach to dental care is appropriate.
- The learner will understand how to select the most minimally invasive surgical techniques to restore and maintain long term oral health.
