How to use Osstell ISQ values to shorten implant healing periods in daily practice
The presentation will review the various clinical applications, in which Osstell ISQ values are routinely measured, which will be documented with typical case reports.
Since the millennium change, significant progress has been made in implant dentistry to make implant therapy more attractive to patients. Among other factors, a significant reduction of healing periods or the time to load was achieved in various clinical situations. The accurate measurement of implant stability is a crucial aspect in the decision making for the most appropriate clinical procedure. Resonance Frequency Analysis (RFA) measuring Osstell ISQ values has been used at the University of Bern for more than 15 years, and it has become a valuable tool in daily practice. The presentation will review the various clinical applications, in which Osstell ISQ values are routinely measured, which will be documented with typical case reports.
