Minimum Intervention Dentistry- restorative and pediatric clinical practice

Prof. Hande Şar Sancaklı , Prof. Patricia Gatón , Prof. Ivana Miletić , Prof. Elmar Reich

Minimum Intervention has been focused mainly on caries, although this concept can be applied to every disease. To achieve long-term results in therapy of the patients focus today is primary on early identification and assessment of caries risk factors by using caries risk assessment forms. Furthermore, it is important to diagnose the first signs of demineralization of hard dental tissue in order to avoid surgical treatment. Modern way of treatment in dental practice is based on concept that demineralized, non-cavitated lesions can be „healed“ using different treatment options. Even in deep lesions concept of remineralization can be applied in order to preserve vitality of the toot. The choice of material as well as procedures depends on multiple factors, which are influenced by the severity of the disease.

SAC v2.0: What can you expect from the new SAC Classification?

Dr. Anthony Dawson

The SAC Classification system has been a pillar of the ITI’s education philosophy since the publication of “The SAC Classification in Implant Dentistry” in 2009. Since then, however, ongoing evolution of treatment concepts, techniques and materials have made significant chages in the way we approach implant dentistry. These developments have led to a review of the SAC Classification scheme. This has been primarily focused on the online SAC Classification Tool and has also resulted in significant revision of the SAC book. This webinar will discuss the development of the new SAC Classification Tool and Book, and what you can expect to see when these are released later this year.

Digital Impression In Modern Dentistry: The Possibilities And Limitations Of Actual Procedures.. Facing The Challenges.

Dr. Pawel Szuba-Paszkiewicz

The traditional method of taking dental impressions is a delicate process, requiring a lot of skill. This makes it more likely that errors will occur. When the scan is complete, and with the ability to magnify the image, it is much easier to spot errors. This webinar will also show some hints, tips and tricks how to get around most of the limitations of the scanners, using additional materials, methods and digital equipment.

Digital solutions in implant dentistry – tools to increase predictability and success in your implant cases

Dr. Marcus Dagnelid DDS

During this lecture you will gain insights into digital solutions in implant dentistry that facilitates the treatment planning process and guides your clinical decisions. Many CAD/CAM protocols have the possibility of enhancing patient security, but too often they are avoided due to cost of software’s and instruments. With newer technologies more clinicians can gain access to these platforms with minimal investment taken. With an increasing demand for single implants the trend towards direct digital restorative diagnosis is clear, and with that clinician can vastly improve their prognosis and treatment outcomes. Choosing the correct loading protocol based on objective measurements is key to gain success. Today there are online cloud solutions available, such as Osstell Connect, that tracks implant patients not only on a local clinical level, but also from a global perspective. Clinicians can utilize this data to gain clinical insights and guide the decision making in implant treatment.
