Tooth extraction and implant placement are common procedures in our everyday practice. In many clinical situations, we would like to preserve or maintain ideal bone volume. In other scenarios, we must rebuild the hard and soft tissue volume. This course will analyze biological healing patterns and how we can predictably manage and/or improve the hard and soft tissues at the extraction site. A special focus will be placed on the indications and uses for resorbable biomaterials.
