Chairside immediate restorations and same-day prosthodontics have most attracted attention as approaches that improve both patient satisfaction and clinical efficiency. However, conventional IOS workflows still face certain challenges in daily practice, such as ensuring scan accuracy, managing complex data processing, and coordinating seamlessly with chairside CAD/CAM systems. This lecture will introduce the “Dentatus System” as a solution to these challenges. The system has the potential to significantly advance both the efficiency and reliability of chairside treatment in prosthodontic and restorative dentistry. Furthermore, cavity preparation specifically designed for IOS, the application of IDS (Immediate Dentin Sealing), and resin coating contribute to improved scannability and margin clarity. These approaches directly simplify CAD design and enhance overall precision. Such strategies not only improve the accuracy of fit but also play a crucial role in the long-term stable prognosis of prosthodontic and restorative treatments, ultimately supporting the longevity of restorations. To achieve these outcomes, the Dentatus System proves to be highly effective and efficient, equipping clinicians with the ability to elevate chairside treatment to a new level.
