Dr. Magid is an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of Pre-Doctoral Laser Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry, teaching the International and Honors Esthetics and High Technology Program. He has appeared on nationwide television and radio programs to discuss high tech and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Magid lectures throughout the U.S. and Canada and is a contributor to many journals and newsletters. Topics include: "Minimally Invasive Dentistry", The Laser Revolution, Digital Radiography, Air-Abrasion dentistry, "21st Century Dentistry", Marketing with High Technology, and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Magid has helped develop and patented many widely used devices in dentistry. As co-founder and Vice President of Kinetic Instruments Inc. in charge of sales and marketing
Dr. Magid maintains a private practice in general dentistry with an emphasis on high technology and cosmetics in Westchester New York.
