The facebow is probably one of the most important yet underutilized diagnostic recording tools.

Course fee: $199.00

The facebow record provides considerable information for the laboratory and helps obtain consistent clinical results for restoring anterior teeth. Unfortunately, many dental assistants don’t understand why it is necessary for the laboratory to have a facebow record.

In this course, Dr. John Cranham and Shannon Pace, DA II, will explain why we need study models and facebow transfer, and why we need certain trays and what landmarks we are looking for in a good impression.

Other course highlights include the following:

  • Materials that are best for the laboratory.
  • How to see the overall end result before you start.
  • Pouring models and the mounting process.
