Thermoplastic techniques to fill a root canal are assumed superior to single cone or lateral condensation. However the techniques are difficult to master and time consuming.

RS1 is a simple carrier based thermoplastic root filling technique using adhesive technology. The advantages of the technique over gutta-percha techniques are that no gaps are present after filling resulting in more resistance to coronal leakage. If required, it can be readily retreated which is not easy with current carrier based gutta-percha filling techniques.

I personally use RealSeal with my RealSeal 1 Obturators, but I was wondering if anyone else had any experience in using other resin sealers with this system?

RS1 will bond to any resin sealer. We recommend a methyl methacrylate type because of its potential for chemical bond to dentin but the other will bond to the core very well.
