In this course, Dr. Rhys Spoor will explain what neuromuscular dentistry is and what it is not.

Course fee: $199.00

According to Dr. Spoor, form follows function in restored aesthetic cases. Highlights of the presentation will include the following:

  • A discussion of the occlusal triad plus one — the bones, muscles and teeth driven by the nerves.
  • The six planes of occlusion, and a ranking of the importance of each plane.
  • A discussion of what are good cases for neuromuscular dentistry.
  • The use of the Myotronics equipment in diagnosing and planning a case for treatment.
  • A review of several cases involving removable appliance therapy only, removable appliance and restorative therapy, removable appliance, orthodontic and restorative therapy and orthodontic therapy only.
