TUESDAY, MARCH 22 – “Dealer Day”

  • 10:30-11:00 - Alan Miller   
    Making LASER Technology Affordable for the Entire World
    Description: Mr. Miller is the President and CEO of AMD LASERS.  He will be discussing how he developed the world's most affordable and best selling soft tissue lasers and the future of dental laser technology.

    From SCANORA Spiral Tomography to SCANORA 3D CBCT Imaging
    Description: This presentation shows the development in dental radiology up to digital, computer based radiology and the linked development of implantology. The importance of adequate diagnostic tools in relation to the increasing demand for implant borne, functional and aesthetic treatments is the challenge we are facing today.

    The Power of Cone Beam Technology: Comparing different Cone Beam Systems with their advantages and disadvantages
    Description: Dr. McEowen will introduce attendees to Cone Beam Technology in general with comparisons of all current available CBCT units. At the end of the lecture, the participant should be familiar with:
    1. the differences between currently available CBCT scanning system
    2. the differences between larger and smaller Fields of View and their resolution
    3. the diagnostic value for General Dental needs, Implantology, and Endodontic treatments

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23

    Caries Management in the 21st Century
    Description: The detection of dental decay must be: scientific, accurate, reliable, and clinically significant. The CarieScan PRO is the latest and most accurate must-have diagnostic tool for the clinical practice.  The CarieScan PRO offers dental professionals (dentists and qualified team members) a predictable, evidence-based technique for the detection and qualitative evaluation of pre-decay and decay in teeth.
