In this course, Dr. Robert A. Lowe will offer techniques to create direct anterior and posterior composite restoration that are morphologically precise.

A simple layering technique for an anterior direct composite will be presented, along with the use of tints to create lifelike restorations, a posterior Class I composite with secondary anatomy and external staining, and a Class II direct composite using a sectional matrix. Proper anatomic contour will be emphasized. Participants will learn how to use various esthetic materials in combination with proper finishing techniques to enable state-of-the-art restorations.
This course will also cover the following:
The proper morphology for anterior and posterior teeth, and how to re-create it in composite restorative materials.
Placement and curing techniques for contour, finishing and polishing of anterior and posterior direct composites.
Both internal and external staining techniques that will make composite restorations come alive.
Decreasing sensitivity and increasing predictability with direct composite materials.
