Rewarding treatment outcomes for both patient and dentist are achievable for dental implant overdenture therapy. But to accomplish consistent and predictable outcomes in a general practice, an understanding of the fundamental principles of implant biomechanics — as well as prosthetic, surgical and treatment planning considerations — is required.

Course fee: $199.00

In this course, Dr. Aldo Leopardi will discuss conventional complete denture therapy vs. implant overdenture therapy. Topics of discussion will include the following:

  • Patient selection criteria.
  • Pre-surgical treatment planning, including patient expectations, prosthetic overdenture and fixed hybrid options, biomechanics and the team concept.
  • An overview of full-arch fixed prostheses for the completely edentulous patient.
