I would like to attend this course, but cannot make it for the live event. I assume it will be available as an archived webinar, like the others? Would be nice to watch at my own convenience.

Hello Dr. Comisi,
Unfortunately, I missed the live broadcast, but I look forward to viewing the archive! Quick question: What is the main benefit of including a glass-ionomer component to composite restoratives?
Thank you,
Dr. Falke

Hello Dr. Falke,

One of the most important benefits of a bioactive material, like glass ionomer, resin modified glass ionomer and giomers is the ability to release important minerals, like fluoride, strontium and borate into the oral cavity to help neutralize the acid attack of the foods and beverages we ingest each day. Having a Giomer in your hands will enable you to get the terrific physical properties of a composite with all the benefits provided by having the remineralization and anti-plaque benefits of a glass ionomer all rolled into one.

Hi Dr. Comisi,

Thanks for the wonderful lecture and great online experience!

I am just doing some research on Shofu's website and was wondering how user-friendly is it, compared to other materials?

Thanks again.

Hello Simon,

Remarkable easy to use. When you syringe out the Flow Plus material it stays where you put it and can be sculpted and manipulated quite easily. I use the F00 to a higher degree then the F03, but they are both essential to my practice and the terrific assortment of shades that Shofu has created, makes it very easy to match the surrounding tooth structure.
